Hosted by Lisa Mullins in Boston, it is the first global radio news program developed specifically for an American audience. The program presents listeners with a different perspective of the world's people, events and trends.

Drawing on its unique global network of international correspondents, PRI's The World paints a broader picture of international events by reporting on a range of topics, including science, business, technology, sports, art, culture and music. Lisa Mullins brings to The World more than 20 years of experience in broadcast journalism.
